Whenever I text my mom to ask her something important or something I need to know right away, I only say ‘mom’. So when she doesn’t answer quickly, she freaks out later and thinks I’m dying or something.
What am I even saying.
My mom just showed me this picture where everyone has their face painted. She goes ‘I thought that girl in the front was you. It’s not. She’s black.’
My own mother confused me with a black girl.
